  • mcalien - neither insurance companies nor the government should control your health decisions between you and your doctor. Any intrusion on this decision is detrimental to our future health care. Let's not be too concerned with campaign contributions but let's understand what different plans/amendments are going to do to set the course of health care. Remember, if you want a taste of government run healthcare, just look at any European country; get the facts - the are not pretty....

  • hmm...government bureaucrats or insurance companies? tough choice that americans need to have an honest debate about.

but just for fun...lets take a look at tom price

41% or $580,200 of his campaign contributions in 2006...

41% or $528,451 of his campaign contributions in 2008 ....

    came from....you guessed it.

    the health industry.

    source: center for responsive politics

hmm...no wonder why he thinks its a terrible idea to cut insurance companies out of the loop.
