Pink Friday Santa Maria-Supporters take to the streets

Pink Friday in Santa Maria, California. Supporters wearing pink, caring signs, and walking up Broadway toward city hall. California is ranked 48th in the nation in per pupil spending. We also rank 47th in the nation in average class size (46 states have an smaller class size average than we do). The $11.6 billion cut to education is going to mean huge changes in education. The 26,000 + pink slips handed out this March are just the beginning.
