This version of Wade in the Water (then do the mambo) is arranged by Tom Reese. Players: Tom Reese (alto & soprano flute), Laurie Haines Reese (cello), Jake Thro (keyboards) & Aaron Walker (drums). This performance took place in 2006 during "Strings Excell," a week-long music camp for elementary age string playersm held every July at Elizabethtown College.

  • I heard this very same song on the radio last night, and Iv'e been dying to check it out since! I was surprised to find a jazz band like this on YouTube. Very RRK influenced. Hop to see you at Night Town Cleveland, Reese!

  • Thanks for the compliment! We're playing at Night Town on Wed, May 20, shows at 7 & 8:30 pm. We would love to have community support as the Wadsworth Agency is looking at this as an "audition" for them. Please bring friends! If you identify yourself, we'll give you a free CD! Looks like you have good taste in music; we do a version of Night in Tunisia that we're planning to play at Night Town. See you there?

  • I used to be one of Lauries Cello students... and of course tom was always whistling along to whatever I we were playing.

    It's so awesome to see them on stage and not just in the park anymore.
