there are no words for me to describe the album of 1942 a love story, breathtaking even to this day and for future generation to come. Both Kumar Sanu ad Kavita will be remembered more for singing for 1942 than any other singing album in their lives.

My research indicates that the name of the singer here is Shivaji Chattopadhyay. He has the most gentle and distinctive voice and caresses the song with his sensitivity. Why hasn't the world heard more of him since this movie was released? My God he is a fantastic singer - where is he right now? I hope he comes out again because this voice is too beautiful to be lost to the world. He is far superior to most of the other male Indian vocalists out there. Please ask him to sing for us again.
