Satellite pictures came in live
Something strange was going on at the south pole
'Cause in the upper stratosphere
Right where the ozone should appear
There shows up nothing but a gaping hole

In '92 there was Rio
Which postponed to Kyoto
The UN Framework Convention on Climate Change
But the protocol could never fly
The States refused to ratify
And now 350 is almost out of range

Well now they're talking cap-and-trade
A Faustian pact I'm afraid
Offset emissions while the planet goes to hell!
'Cause it's anthropogenic carbon
That should end at Copenhagen
Come on Obama honour your Nobel
