Sony PS3 Audio Problem - HDMI?

Ok, i uploaded a video about my problem and people couldn't tell what was wrong. Hopefully from this one you can.

I have a PS3 plugged into my TV via HDMI.

I have restored my PS3 and i still have the problem.

Maybe a faulty Blu-Ray drive.

Basically from the video you can hear the sound all funny, if i remove the HDMI from the PS3 and plug it straight back in (See the video) the sound goes back ok.

If i LEAVE the HDMI in after about 10 minutes (sometimes i cant be arsed to move the cable) it goes back to normal on its own.

Only things i haven't tried are a different HDMI port and a different HDMI Cable.

Any ideas?

I have the window open next to the PS3 most of the time when i play so its cool and doesnt over heat (did a bit in the summer just gone, when it kicks in like a jet i turn it off and back on and its quite, then i keep it cool)

So what do you think it could be? Dunno if i have missed any info? Let me knowwwww Cheeerrrssssss

you need to select the correct audio formats on your ps3 audio settings so you can get rid of that sound.

@playstation406 How come it only happens after say 4-5 hours straight or something? Also i choose "Audio Output" "HDMI" "Auto" and let it sort itself out?

It used to do it on my old TV so i cant rule that out either! i dont know what it is, everything has been swapped!!! Except HDD but i doubt that will cause it?

Yeah i have a PS3 slim now and a new HDMI cable and it has happened today. I have had it running all day but its still annoying not knowing why it does it!!!

i had static problems like that before, but VERY rarely, happened recently to me on dead island.......but that games one big glitch anyways
