deepcool iceberg pro vs ocz vendetta

I got the Vendetta and I have temps from 40c to 52c. Doesn't really bother me, but I'd like to get the most out of the heatsink. I'm using Phenom 955, does that seem like a reasonable temperature?

I like the Zalman 8700 because its so easy to install on the standard AMD retention bracket. I don't care for the hassle of tower heatsinks, just a headache to deal with the custom backplate and screwing it down and then back off every-time I want to install a new CPU. I'll trade five degrees and a couple hundred megahertz on the overclock for the added convenience the Zalman 8700 gives me.

theres no comparison over the 2 coolers, the zalman is designed for a low profile desktop case or a small case like the silverstone SG02, the vandetta is a huge tower heatsink with more heatpipes designed for overclocking.
the test is inconclusive.

Zalman is way overrated. Nice video.

If you set it up down then It'll be sucking hot, rising air from the GPU and feeding it to the CPU, and then feeding it to the power supply if you have it mounted on top. I have my Xigmatek with the fan on top to combat this.
i have the vendatta but i want ton know if it works better with fan facing up or down?

the fan side fan down is better, after all air goes up not down,

and witch way do u have it?

i tried both fan up and down, up is no good for me , cause there's not enough space for air intake, cause of the PSU was on the way, and AMD overdrive can only with if u have a motherboard with AMD 7 series chipset (770 780g 740 790x 790fx 790gx)

works better if it is pointing to a exaust fan

the vendetta cannot do front to back setup on AMD systems.
