I'm sorry, but Rihanna and all those similar to her need to stop focussing on being cool and start trying to make impactful music.
We're going to look back on these 'awesomely modern' videos in 10 years and giggle because the costumes and the general facade is so overdone.
I would complain about the fact that "rock" is being used by an RnB singer once again as a gimick to add to their ever expanding pool of superficial cool, but I feel the previously mentioned faults outdo them.
