Neither non-turbocharged Series 92 engine is as common than the turbocharged or turbo-aftercooled versions in automotive applications (trucks and buses), but may be for non-automotive applications like construction vehicles and naval (marine) applications.

Yes, the "318" 8V71N was the original engine. It was about 1975-78 that this Kenny was repowered to the rare 8V92N, which makes about 365 hp. The 8V92N was not as common as the 8V92T or 8V92TA.

as a gravel train driver i think you could be hauling a bit more dirt, but it depends on the haul road you are using
