Norfolk Eaglets .. Wildlife Center of Virginia .. 6-10-11 .. Food, Flubbed Landings & Pool Time!

NX & NV start out eating and stealing each others breakfast. Then one of them makes 2 attempts at a landing on the flying trapeze perch with little luck. Finally, it's pool time! I think it's NX that's taking a bath but I'm not 100%. Sure looks like the larger bird to me but it;s hard to tell. Watching the one outside the tub is almost as funny as watching the one in the tub.
Now... Watch in front of the tub very closely at the 7.50 mark of the video and tell me if you see something crawling around the base of the tub from right to left. I see something...

These three bald eaglets from Norfolk Botanical Garden were relocated to the Wildlife Center of Virginia on April 27 after their mother was killed by an airplane the previous day. The eaglets are receiving excellent care and are being prepared for release into the wild in August.

lol yup i def saw something crawling around the bottom of the tub also.. about 30seconds before hand the baby outside the tub seems to be looking at something on the ground on the back side of the tub.. lovely big bug i think lol and as for those two attempts to land on the swing lol that was funny

It looked like a shadow, or some of the floor covering moving around in the breeze from all the flapping. I swear you guys are getting all paranoid!

I agree, there was something mowing and the one outside was certainly following it, and looked to try and catch it

Most definately something was crawling around the base of the tub and the non bathing eaglet was searching for it..
