interactive arduino 4x4x4 led cube

My arduino 4x4x4 ledcube is interactive reacting on the light coming in the top LEDs. The 4 LEDs on the top corners are connected to the analog pins of the Arduino. They are sensors that "look" from that corner my hand comes. After sensing they become ordinary LEDs and are part of the 4x4x4 LED cube. See my other clips for some code about this subject.
My next step will be an interactive table, that will react on people walking by. I want to use the same principle for the table; just LEDs and an Arduino and a lot of multiplexing and charlieplexing.
