The White House and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius welcome Senator Patty Murray of Washington state to a discussion addressing the questions and concerns of her constituents on health insurance reform. The Secretary and the Senator also take several questions submitted through Facebook. October 14, 2009. (Public Domain)
Minute 8:00 or 8:05 or so...Murray explains how businesses will not kick off people from health plans. Perhaps she ought to look at Boeing in her state of Washington kicking off 90,000 employees from their health plan.

A Senator from Washington, the home of Microsoft has her assistant sitting there with an Apple laptop. Yeah, she really supports her constituents.

Murray your'e sitting next to a soulless puppet of the new world order. Who has been saying H1N1 shots are safe. Even though they have squalene and thimerosal in them. You should be ashamed of pushing for health reform on the people. We don't want you socialist government heath care. Be on the right side of history and stand with the people.

If I were president I'd take the tarp money and give each senator and congressman a million dollars to pass a single payer system. It wouldn't be against the law since the effect would be to lift the burden and expense of healthcare so that more people can consume and get the economy moving again. Right now medical expenses are bankrupting millions of families and putting millions of companies out of business.

This plan is just another nightmare.
Get employers out of the loop..
Get gov. out of the loop.
Get ins. co's out of the loop.
Create clinics, put doctors on salaries, make anything to do with healthcare NON-PROFIT. See my video response.
Keeping profit in healthcare is the worst form of capitalism there is.
In the words of Scrooge,
"If the poor are going to die then let them do it, and decrease the surplus population."
Give us what you got elected to give us.

Why will hospitals be understaffed if there was a public heath care solution? Why would there be a sudden overstock of patients in the hosptials?
Wait-don't answer. You and I have are now descending into a discussion that entails basic conceptual differences and neither of us will be pleased with the outcome of this discussion.
I wish you well, but I am not going to go there with you.
You are welcome to have the last word. Peace : )

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 28% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11 (see trends).....health reform wil never pass, they will blame Bush and some kind of racist incident, the dems are thru if they pass this Healthcare Crap!

As soon as you get the public health care though, hospitals will be understaffed & over stocked with patients. They lay in the hallways for days on OR tables because they can't have beds. Nurses assess by eye & tell u to go, your OK even when u are dying. The DR.s under examine, over bill, give pills instead of finding the problem. Pharmacia wins up here. Buy an MRI machine, you'll be rich in no time. The wait 4 one is 1 year minimum & they don't do full procedure, more milking!

So sorry to hear about the mishandling your girlfriend received. No system is flawless, I know, but having no insurance can be catastrophic.
I used to work at a county hospital that takes in folks who had no ins and I know how huge the bills can become.
