DARK AMBIENT STYLES - PART 5

I made this videos for those who have read the Encyclopedia of Electronic Music, and had been wondering about the Dark Ambient Styles!!!

...I add Pictures for each song and syle, that way you get the idea about the subgender!!

...I have a huge respect for Massimo Magrini...Bad Sector, where to put it?  it really depends on which album or song...he is always playing with sounds... dark ambient, noise, space and industrial sounds as well....

mmm....In which way? ...Nattramn's side project is amazing...but, he didn't follow a straight line on his album. I still want to show my respects for his music, and make a video-tribute...but I don't have the right equipment.

"dark" ambient is a subgenre as well afterall.Medieval ambient ! wow, its definitely my style, havent heard anything like this, i gonna check this out

Nothing in this clip is Dark Ambient. So throw your doubtful encyclopaedia in the next trashcan. ;)

I guess, the term is confusing. In fact, it's an outgrowth of Industrial music, created by artists such as Lustmord. It's not a subgenre of Ambient music. Back in the late 1980s/early 1990s, all this Dark Ambient stuff was called Ambient Industrial. In 1994 i read the term Dark Ambient for the first time in an Industrial music magazine. Maybe it's older, but i think, it's a term from the 1990s.

Great videos, I liked almost everything, neo classical ambient is not my kind of music... could you tell me other medieval ambient project? because the example you gave us here sounds like the toccata and fugue remix you can find everywhere.
