Using our exclusive one-man brake bleeder, Bavarian Otto shows how easy it is to flush out the old fluid and replace it with fresh fluid for greater safety and better braking control. The bleeder and fluids can be purchased in our online store at http://www.bavauto.com/

  • does it matter if the car has ABS or ESP ? or is the procedure the same ?

  • @nutschTM

Although you may see warnings in the repair manuals, that late model BMWs with ABS and-or traction control MUST be bleed by a BMW dealer .... you can indeed certainly bleed these models at home with the pressure bleeder..

Thanks for the answer. My only concern was the valve block / control module for the ABS/ESP system. Wouldnt want any air left in there if you know what i mean ;)

  • @nutschTM

In manually flushing the system, you will not be exchanging the fluid that is trapped within the pump unit, "behind" the solenoid valves. As long as you do regular flushes, this is not really an issue. As the ABS cycles (unless you never have it go on), the fluid will exchange over time.

  • Great video. How about a video on AT fluid service that would be so helpful.

    Coming soon!

We will begin production on the automatic transmission fluid and filter change in mid-February (2012), for release with our Spring 2012 Fast Times newsletter.

    Great! Thanks for the help

  • This is a great video. Great and perfect.

If the screw-on cap for the brake fluid reservoir is the same, the pressure bleeder will work just as on the BMW (as well as Porsche, VW, Audi & Mercedes). If the Toyota reservoir has a different cap (which it likely does), we do offer a universal conversion cap/cover so the bleeder can be used on non-BMW vehicles. The part number is ALB30583 and you can view it by entering the part number in the search box on our web site ... BAVAUTO dot COM.

  • can I use that kit on 2000 toyota camry 4 cylinders?

  • Excellent. Very clear directions. Thanks for posting.
