After taking his place in the chair, the winning bard is honoured through a number of ceremonies. The first is to be hailed in song. Here the Welsh singer Shan Cothi performs.

@mush1955 actually, I carry the Welsh grouping, but I am original La -Tene Britton. Apparently, out of 200,000 samples, I and two others carry the original founder Brtish /Welsh Haplogroup. It may be there really was a horrific ethnic cleansing by different invading groups. Your right... quite astounding.

I just found through DNA, that I am Welsh. What a thrill this is, to hear and read the words.
