  • @thesnare100 not always. if your anthode and cathode (copper and aluminum or any two other metallic conductors)are close enough then the minerals in tap water can easily serve as an electrolyte.

  • @ironknightzero I thought it has to be salt water

  • Cant you also use lemon juice for better electrolyte.

  • Water was the Electrolyte in this case.
