  • An amazing instrument, this performance brilliant and in keeping with the spirit of the theremin!

  • Thank you for your comment. We are glad that you like our theremin performance.

  • I always knew asian people had super powers :D

  • So many peoples love to play theremin in Japan. Over 40 classrooms where you may learn to play on theremin in Japan. Maybe it happens only in Japan.

  • Is that true? Simply amazing...I never knew there could be Theremin classes, always thought it would be a self-learning instrument.

  • I teached over 500 people as thereminst . All members of Mable are expert students of Masami Takeuchi. Some of them also have own theremin classes.

  • Wikipedia: The theremin (/ˈθɛrəmɪn/[1]), originally known as the ætherphone/etherphone, thereminophone[2] or termenvox/thereminvox is an early electronic musical instrument controlled without discernible physical contact from the player. It is named after its Russian inventor, Professor Léon Theremin, who patented the device in 1928. The controlling section usually consists of two metal antennas which sense the position of the player's hands and control oscillators for frequency with one hand...

  • Really nice!

  • Doctor, I believe you are incorrectly placing your stethoscope.

  • that was amazing, my mind has just been blown!

  • Excellent version! Not sure what the hand movements were about though..

  • @frisimota maybe because both theremin and matrioshkas were invented in Russia?

  • why da hell in the world would they give a matrioshka shape to a theremin?

  • Wow, I was just given one of these for christmas, and I have to say, it's the hardest instrument I've ever tried to play. I can see why you would need classes. These people are great, and I'm totally inspired to learn my new Matryomin! Thanks for posting!

  • This is interesting.
