@Alkebulan32 When people call him a dictator, they're referring to his attempts at consolidating power, by nationalizing industry, revoking broadcasting licences for his opponents, attempting to eliminate presidential term limits, arming his militant leftist supporters, appropriating land, and etc.

You can tell when a person has no true respect or perhaps understanding of democracy when they describe democracy as consisting of elections only, like you've just done.

@JohnLennon100 You seem to not understand the definition of a dictator.. you may not like his policies, but he does not wield absolute power (one of the main characteristics of a dictator). Please read the definition of a dictator, your hatred for Chavez does not change the fact that your government is NOT a dictatorship.
