A professors job is not to tell students what to think; it is to help them to think carefully, critically, and for themselves. There is a legitimate place for the catechist, the preacher, the social activist, and the community organizer; but that place is not the university classroom. Professors who seek to indoctrinate their students violate a sacred trust. They should be forcefully challenged and publicly held to account. In One-Party Classroom, David Horowitz does just that. The book should provoke a discussion of the ethics of classroom instruction that is long overdue.
—Robert P. George, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Director of the James Madison Program
in American Ideals and Institutions, Princeton University

Definitive proof that, whether they succeed or not, thousands of professors go to work every day with the intention of indoctrinating their students in their personal political prejudices.
—Candace de Russy, former trustee, State University of New York

One-Party Classroom shows how far American universities have drifted from academic principles. The politicized courses described here are indeed among the worst cases. What is truly shocking is the unwillingness of university authorities to do anything about them.
—Stephen H. Balch, founder and president, National Association of Scholars

Reveals how political activists masquerading as academics dominate our liberal arts colleges. Regents and trustees need to become engaged in this important battle to restore academic rigor, standards, and accountability to our institutions of higher learning.
—Tom Lucero, regent, University of Colorado

There is not a university leader in this country who would not be better for confronting the well-reported case studies in David Horowitzs book.
—Frederick Mohs, former trustee, University of Wisconsin

  • Leftists OUT OF U.S. NOW!!!

  • @TheNova1960 WTF do you think, jackass? It proposes that students NOT have to be brainwashed by communist/marxist liberal professors. Wake the f**k up, idiot. College campuses are teaming with anti-America, anti-Jew, anti-white rhetoric all day everyday. Impressionable young people who haven't developed a fighting spirit yet feel under siege by these dirtbags. That's what the academic bill of rights is attempting to address and hopefully aggressively combat.

  • YET ANOTHER CONSERVATIVE INVENTION -

    fracking dishonest dealers

  • @phillipmarch22 - Watch Indoctrinate U, it's a documentary about the subject from 2007. Yep, went to school in Southern California--maybe what you majored in you didn't seem to notice. However, I started out majoring in Psychology, I have never heard so many brainwashing Liberals for Professors as well as catching, yes, catching only half truths in the textbooks, which seemed to deliberately want to make you think one way instead of the other.

  • Most college majors are about exploration.

No professor ever tried to shove anything my throat!

I still think for myself; I disagree with hard left, 1/2 as often as with the looney Right

  • @clumpofdirt77 Really? Churning out Marxist robots? WTF are you talking about? I have seen Horowitz on C-Span spout this pure bullshit. It is not our schools, it is a better educated society. If you are under 30 and a Republican, you have no heart. If you are over 30 and a Republican, you have no brain! My parents were moderate Republicans until Nixon came along. I think children and young adults get taught more at home about politics than at school. The GOP is way too far right right now.

  • @phillipmarch22 Liberal professors have been a thorn in this country's side for a long time -- since long before 2008. Horowitz isn't speaking out against liberal professors just because Obama is president; he's speaking out against liberal professors because they're weakening the moral-fiber and brain-power of this country by churning out Marxist robots.

  • @pinktopaz25 I went to college for 4 years so I am not sure where you are coming from. And I went to school in southern California where it it very liberal and never once did I think one of my professors was left or right leaning. Students only get indoctrinated if they want to be indoctrinated. And none of my professors had the magic power of mind control. Horowitz is full of shit.

  • @phillipmarch22, this has been an ongoing problem in universities...fact; not opinion. You wouldn't believe this because you've been indoctrinated or have no formal education. Through my coursework, I have come across many professors with biased opinons toward the left and a few wonderful professors that have been vey unbiased and gave information from both sides. So Phillip...you STFU until you learn something.

  • @yellowstarable wow your an idiot

  • @yellowstarable no, he's a islamist-hater. the hate isn't towards the tolerant, peaceful muslims who advocate the right of non-muslims, gays, women & jews to be alive as normal human beings (e.g. zionism) like salah choudhury. he hates the fanatic psychopathic nutcases that dominate the politics of islam & brainwash our impressionable young muslim brothers & sisters.

what is repulsive is ppl like u shouting "islamophobe" at any1 working in human rights, while u claim u work in human rights.

  • This guy is full of shit. President Obama wins in 2008 and all the sudden this dick comes out and wants to blame it on Liberal professors in school. STFU!
