An interesting experiment. My 11 year old twins did something, similar, for a science fair project. The girls were blindfolded for an entire weekend, to find out if their other senses were enhanced by their doing without their sight. What we did was put eye pads over their eyes, secured with two large bandages, and covered with a black blindfold. They couldn't see a thing for two days. Hysterical! They handled it pretty well. One enjoyed it so much she didn't want to take her blindfold off!
