Mega Man X Quickie - Sting Chameleon Stage's Heart Tank

Wow, been a while since I've done an MMX1 video, eh? Well anyway, this short video shows how to get ahold of that pesky Heart Tank in Sting Chameleon's stage withOUT defeating Launch Octopus first to flood the stage.
That's one more upgrade you can get earlier than otherwise!

...Okay, maaayyybe not the most useful MMX1 trick, since it can be difficult to master, but it's something, anyway.

[Emphasis: The point of this video IS TO SHOW THAT THIS IS POSSIBLE. I know that defeating Launch Octopus makes this a lot easier. Don't leave comments saying so. I'm trying to show how to do it WITHOUT defeating Launch Octopus, to prove that it's possible, even if quite difficult. Read video descriptions, people. Novel as the concept may be.]

It's been so long I had forgot that I could defeat Launch Octoput to get the Heart Tank, and then you come around with the Iceboarding method. That's fuckin awesome.

I had just about forgotten all about this video, to be honest. But hey, I'm glad to...help, I guess? Hah. But believe me, I feel a tad ashamed at my failed attempts...that was pretty bad, heh. But anyway, yeah. It may not be the most practical or useful "trick" in MMX1, but hey, it is there, so. I'm sure someone could make use of it, somewhere!

That would be Guts Man's Ass. He (it?) hails from the old Mega Man cartoon from the 90s. It became a running gag/meme on YouTube (and possibly other places on the internet) after a certain popular video was made here on YouTube with GMA (that's Guts Man's Ass for short) as the main feature.
