The second half of my surgery. Putting the flap back and putting the salt solution in to make the flap stay. You can hear the women telling my family what they were doing. If you have any questions feel free to ask! If you get the surgery make sure you relax your eye or the clamp will hurt! =)

  • no. you have to be awake and consious so you can follow their direction. plus your eyes have to be open. trust me.. i asked the saaame thing! its really not that bad. you stare up at a light the whole time.

  • is it possible that they could put you to sleep if u asked

  • you are awake the whole time. they just use numbing eyedrops. i was terrified as well! the worst part is the clamps but if you just relax they arent bad. ive never heard of the flap not growing back.. the next day the doctor said it was healed.. so it heals fairly fast especially if you sleep a lot. some people have problems with dry eyes. i do sometimes.. but you can just put eyedrops in. youll be a pro at that by the end. anymore questions feel free to ask! its worth it i promise!!! =)

  • were you awake with them using local anesthetic? I am considering doing this procedure but I am absolutely terrified. A lot of people have said that there will be complications with the cornea flap never growing back or dry eyes. Please reply if you can. Thanks
