On May 1, 2010, Tennessee was hit with a deadly flood that devastated more than half the counties in the state, left us with several casualties and billions of dollars in damage, and altered the state forever. Before FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate could get these words out, "It takes the entire community working together to recover from a disaster like the flooding in Tennessee..." Nashvillians were out in their neighborhoods working to abate the flood waters and rescue their neighbors. And they haven't stopped.
