  • Actually I thnk it was for the party they threw friday night on the 26th. I'm working on the footage for it. I will post them up on you tube in a few days. He tore it up at the party.

  • since ur a friggen pro!! I need some help. The (homemade) pick i use to play is too rigid and it doesn't allow me to play quickly. I just wanted to know what type of pick you used. I've tried several guitar picks but they don't do the job. Keep up the good work. I wish u success!

  • Hejdi told me one of the best things to use as a pick for the cifteli is to cut out the plastic thats used in milk or water gallon containers. If your from nyc I recommend using the metro card material.

  • @supershqipa Also, I learned by ear from CDs at first. If you have a good ear, and no teachers physically around, that's the way! That was back in the day before internet got big. In the last few years I found music software that will let me slow down playback without changing pitch, and loop a section and it really helps me learn songs note for note. there's one called Transcribe that's really good. And I use youtube vids now too to watch their fingers. It IS really diff from guitar! :)

  • @supershqipa I used to use 9 gauge too, until I bought a cifteli from albatunes (they have pretty good ones, made in Kosova mostly) and it came with really really light strings, like sympathetic strings from a sitar, that light. And they were both the same. I realized (duh!) it's so you can tune it in all the different tunings from A-D to A-E to E-D and neither string will ever be too tight or too loose, like guitar strings will be. Check those out!

  • wow. This dude, is the best hand of albanian cifteli,,Great!

  • Yeah kid keep up the good work.....Peace

  • this dudee is goodd keeep it up mann

  • Ec aty trimi,,,e fuqishme kjo pjese,,strong very strong.Jepi te lumte dora!

  • ahhh i met this guy at a baby shower lol

  • Dude, I gotta couple of questions. Im using 9 gauge guitar strings. Any other Idea for strings? Im also curious on how you got started. Was it tabs? Are there tabs? Where can I pick up a good quality cifteli. Its funny, I play guiatr and its not like something Im used to.

    Thanks
