I dont know if you already got a reply to this and I see Im very late but Im now looking at these videos. Europeans call C3 convertase - C4b2b and Americans call C3 Convertase - C4bC2a. Its jst a matter of country and Dr Najeeb uses European style, jst like me but you will find most textbooks made in US and so will use C2a instead of C2b.

  • why is this guy so good at explaining ?

  • Dr. Najeeb if you keep on teaching students like me, i will forever be supplying your pens. PLUS in pastel colors! haha! Thank you so much Dr. Najeeb!

  • Sir thanks a lot for posting all these videos on the you tube, and thank to you dear youtube which helped the several people to understand these lectures and then I must say that every candidate, who has studied it or just listened it will top in any seminar, examination and any thing.

Thanks a lot Dr. Najeeb, thanks a lot.

Actually if i say thanks several times it will be less.

May the almighty bless u and u carry on helping the candidates.

  • Thanks so much. I understand everything you say now. I just have one question: My textbooks say, it's C4b2a (and C4b2a3b), instead of C4b2b (and C4b2b3b) that makes the C3 (and C5) convertase. Why do you always say C2b?

  • thanks this is so much easier to listen to than my teachers

  • opsonization- tagging. C3b tags the molecule to notify the macrophage.

  • as i m watching these videos..i have started to enjoying to know more and more bout the complement system....sir thanks a ton for all this..
