I'm 26 & have just realised I have SA. I'm so angry that none of the "professionals" I've seen over the years picked up on it, I've literally thought I was insane all this time. Completely in awe of you going to uni. I only managed college for 3 months when I was 17 & it ended badly. Watching vlogs like yours is helping to wash away a little of the self-hatred. Thank you!

Your sooo right about the physical reactions to uncomfortableness thing!!.
That is something that I have struggled with my whole life. I kind of get the feeling that people have figured me out and I suddenly loose all my confidence, it is HORRIBLE!.

@christvswarhol - Its a very genuine problem which people like us face. i had experienced that myself. I believe if some one accepts us as what we are, it solves this problem to a greater extent. I am saying so because it happened to me. But there is feeling of doubt that why would some one do that. Compassion has the answer for this. And once we get such acceptance our minds open and grows up so fast that the loss diminish and we get on with our lives normally. Wish you Love and Luck.

Hey, It's good to see a new video. I have lost some time yeah, atleast socially, but that make things like study very difficult as well anyway. How to accept it?, it can be hard to answer and maybe depends of each person, but maybe it helps sometimes thinking about the few good things that happened or that have been learned, in general, during that "lost" time, maybe it wasn't completely lost, perhaps it can depend of the way you see it. Good to hear you have made progress, Uni is a big therapy.

@BarelyNoticeable Yes uni is a big therapy lol it's mind boggling at times :P I know what you mean, like i said there have been things in my life obviously, to get where i am, perhaps the lost time is a state of mind or a continuing of lost time which makes it seem more important? Anyway i hope you are doing well X

Hi, I can relate so much to what you describe in this vid. My teens were effectively destroyed by severe social anxiety, which indeed impacts me to this day. I feel the loss to this day of interpersonal skills, which might have developed in my adolescence. I too feel that if I had had CBT in early stages of my own social phobia, I would have gotten to grips with social anxiety earlier. Wish you well in your challenge with it. Slan, Jer
