  • @fordsportcustom - Thank you. I want to return it to the original paint color as soon as I can. I will certainly post a follow-up video at that time.

    The paint (dark green) is already flaking off - I've been wondering if heat can help to get that layer of paint off & get it to the original (lighter green) underneath. Please let me know if that will work, folks! I don't know why but the guy I bought it from many years ago painted directly over the original paint with that darker, booger green.

  • @fordsportcustom - He (My dad, Roger) said that it came from a lawn mower. I couldn't find any missing springs under the seat. But who knows..... I'll have to do another video one of these days. I was kind of waiting until I can get it back to its original color (notice the lighter green when I open the hood vs. the darker green). But 'Roger' decided to be realistic about the selling price & it worked out. I now own it & have made improvements. After that paint job I will surely post again.
