This is the second part of a tribute to FFVII I've arranged for 12 french horns and entirely recorded.
All the themes arranged and played were kept in the order they can be heard in the game or in the OST.

  • I would love to see what you would do with a melody like this for FFIX. In my opinion, IX has the best music of the series (but of course all of Uematsu's music is great!). On the other hand, I might just do it myself, though it most likely wouldn't be for horns. Thanks for entertaining me tonight!

  • IX has an amazing score you're right !

If I had the time I'd do a tribute to every FF game, especially VI, VIII and IX

  • If this were transcribed for a more diverse ensemble of instruments or even a full orchestra, I might crap my pants

amazing that it's all done by one person and instrument.

  • Thanks !

The thing is it's always been a dream of mine to hear a full-orchestra FFVII ( or any FF ) symphony kind of thing..

So this was my attempt to give people an idea of what it'd be like!

  • Great job. What recording software or equipment are you using?

  • thanks!

All was done with a T.bone SC300mic ,a Phonic AM240 mixer, plugged into my X-FI sound card.

And I use the good old Cubase.

  • I would like to hear Aerith's Theme on french horn.

  • This has been my favorite game since I was 9 years old! I have played this game once a year and have beaten it every year since and I am now 23.. This sincerely brought a tear to my eye.. Thank you good sir. Amazing playing.

  • wait 20 minutes worth of music times what 12 horns you had to do for it ........you sir have my respect as a fellow musician and a fellow horn player

  • Fantastic! Tres Bien! This will definitely go down as one of my most memorable YouTube experiences. Actually, I just might have to download the mp3. Thanks!

  • Jesus christ I come back to this after 2 months and the ending STILL gave me goosebumps. Words can't express how awesome you are.. at least, with my limited vocabulary. Inspired.

  • I know how much time this must have taken you. This is absolutely incredible. Thank you.

  • @Marcpapeghin You can put my vote in for FF VI as having the best music of the series, or at least most memorable to me.

  • really cool playing man, very cool. the only bit i didn't like was the minor chord at the end of the battle scene. shoulda gone with the original

  • Great workd Master xD
