CopterX 500 - Training day ...

that was just a training flight for me, practising stuff and enjoying the heli.
i think my governor mode does not work well, as it seems i loose headspeed when trying to do tic tocs. well, the ESC is not really made for that, but it was cheap and is reliable so far ;)

Verry nice! what is your setup? copterx 500 kit with what kind of motor, esc, servos, gyro etc?

@oenta83 i have to say this heli just got the name copterx 500 because i use the CX main frame + head, everything else had to be upgraded to align to make it fly without vibrating ;) servos are MG from ino-lab & gyro is gy-401. motor: scorpion 3026 1600kv.

@GaryX1001 Yeah, I have to agree, the inverted hover was well done man.

I had a headspeed issue with my CopterX 250 for doing tic tocs as well and now just run a near 100% flat curve for idle up (100 98 95 98 100) and a different set of blades (CF). What are you running with this 'CX' 500?

I'm planning on buying one as well (and will most likely have to upgrade certain parts for Align like you did, what would you recommend to upgrade before any flying and what are optional upgrades?).

@PHeMoX i run idle up1 flat 75% or idle up2 flat 78%, giving me a headspeed of 2560 and alittle higher.

i recommend NOT to buy a cx500, better get the align kit and laugh about the people who have to change all the parts :) this kit was really really bad, cannot recommend it! i just build a trex 550E and it flew without any issues after tightening the last screw! really not worth the trouble!

Nice and it does sound a treat, I used the Trex 500 motor & ESC but the heli itself is all Copter X and it flies a dream, well done.
