Hi Mariann,
your videos are great, they seem to make the most sense of all on Youtube. I do etching, but often get a bit overenthusiastic with my wiping, its good to get a really good demo of how to do multi colour wiping, as I can be a bit clumsy sometimes, I can feel more confident with little poupees now.

dear mariann,
I really enjoyed watching you do a la poupee. I am going to try it tomorrow. But I wonder how you are able to keep your hands so clean. My hands get full of ink whenever I ink a plate. are you using oil-based ink?
Also, what kind of oil did you add to some of the ink in order to thin it?
regards,
martha

Hi Martha,
clean hands, oh no, don't you worry, my hands get filty too, just the way the cookie crumbles, doing an etching a la poupee. And yes, i use Charbonnel etching inks, oilbased and thin them with the best linseed oil you can find.
Thanks for getting in touch! :o) mariann
