"Mmkay, um, I'm doing this In response to the sizeism in regards to health for uh...stophatingyourbody
People think I'm anorexic and that I don't eat because I'm really boney and thin and I don't have a large body fat percentage. The truth is that I used to have a binge eating disorder and I would eat upwards of 12 meals a day just trying to gain weight because I was so sick of it, and, uh, it's hard for me to admit that, because I don't...no one ever considers that an eating disorder, they never talk about it, it's always people who don't eat, it's never people who overeat to the point that they make themselves sick. The truth is, after that, I had a surgery to move my lower jaw forward, and I could not eat solid food for 6 weeks, because my jaw was wired shut, and I lost 10 pounds. The truth is, it scares me, and I want desperately to gain weight, but I can't, I tried, but I didn't. But, I'm not going to be ashamed of my body, because nobody should. I'm going to make the best of what I can, because everyone, no matter what they look like, who they are, what's happened, they deserve a little bit of happiness in their life. You deserve to be happy, I deserve to be happy, and have self esteem. And, I know it's hard, it's always gonna be hard, it's hard not to self-hate, but...and they say life's too short to so it, but you can't help it sometimes, but I'm gonna try not to, and so should you guys, you should all be brave, step up, stop hating yourself, and join the revolution. I love you all, thank you."
