  • hi @talkingenergy. I have an eon energy fit, but I live in a flat and have multiple live inputs (24hr, offpeak). I probably need some more of the clips (I know the sender can have 3 inputs). Could you please advise where I can get some more clips and how to set it up? ta

  • Hi @benafaulkner Please message the channel with your E.ON account/email/home address details and we can ask one of the energy monitor team to send you some additional clips.

  • I've removed a comment from @alanmillwall because it wasn't relevant to the content of the video. This user has also posted the same comment on two other videos, which I'll also remove. I've sent a message to @alanmillwall to let him know.

  • My clock loses several minutes per week. The Microsoft SQL package failed to install and fails to uninstall. My computer now takes several minutes longer to boot up, it just sits there with a blank screen. There is a link on the website to a Microsoft tool which will supposedly fix this problem but this is not relevant.

  • Hi @g7txu. Sorry to hear you're software isn't working as it should. I've asked my colleagues in the retail team to help with this and am waiting for their response. I'll get back to you as soon as I have some advice.

  • @talkingenergy I had so reply on this but have resolved the problem myself. The error occurs in machines running XP SP3. MSXML6 SP2 prevents MS SQL Server Express from installing.

The solution is to uninstall MSXML6 and then start the Eon installation again. You may need a removal tool for MSXML6 if it fails to uninstall in 'Add & Remove Programmes'.

  • @g7txu Sorry for not getting back to you with advice from our retail team. If you still need any technical advice or help I've sent you a message with a contact email.

  • @talkingenergy Thanks for your reply to my message re additional clips. I'm sure you are an eon employee but just to be secure, is there some way I can contact eon or perhaps they can email me etc? I'm just concerned about security....
