  • Albright is better as @ethanmaiden said.

  • @ethanmaiden It's not that quite good of a knot because it bends the leader. The albright knot is the best.

  • @reaper2748311

The knot is commonly called the dirty Russian. Named after Russian fisherman who can quickly tie the knot while their hands are dirty or slippery. It's agood utilty knot.

  • Четверной булинь!

Stupid americans does not know this knot ? )))

  • lol I don't know the name of the knot but I use to tie when fishing.

  • bad comentary....gotta know your tag end from your main line and your leader...instruction tells you to pull on the tag end (when he is pulling on main) then cut tag end which if you follow his guidance you will be cutting off the leader you just tied. I may use a different video....thanks.

  • somebody give this knot a name!!!

  • @abcguk - basically this knot doesn't work well with braid to mono/floro - you need an extra step, you are suppose to go through the loop instead of making the X and make 3 to 5 turns and that go back through the loop and pull it down, it will not slip then. Look up the bristol knot, its almost the same knot but will knot slip.

  • Ty :)
