This is a fantasy history! If you don't get emosjonally about this, you have a problem. A fantastic song about a fantastic couple! Could anybody have done it better??

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the starting version with June singing?
The clean acoustic instrumentation in June's section is much better than the iconic, over orchestrated, version that Johnny made famous. (Who decided that the trumpet was a county instrument?)

June did write this song, but it was Johnny that made it a big hit. I love this song as well as the song Johnny and June. I love all of Johnnys songs that he sang. He was a great country singer and gospel also. I love ring of fire and man in black and folsom prison.May Johnny and June rest in peace

yeah, real love does feel like fire. Especially when you fight against it. as far as these pics not being of June and Johnny thats ok, the song is all that matters
