A performance of The Shadows songs Theme for Young Lovers and Sleepwalk by the band "The Jet Blacks" at the Priory School OAP Christmas Party on 15/12/2006. Please comment on the performance, PS we are only 16 and 14 years old so be nice lol

We are currently in the process of forming a covers band to play local pub etc, now that we are 18. We will be doing some shadows, and have practised some beatles, status quo,  fleetwood mac this week, so will hopefully have some more vids soon!

anyone got any ideas of some covers we could do???

yer there may be a few mistakes, but we had very limited time to learn all the songs we played, i fink these 2 we learned on the day, it was also the first time most of us had played on stage.

Dont think about some mistakes, he he, it is from mistakes people learn. I play now aktiv over 40 years and still making mistakes........he he Keep going

Always a mammoth task to cover legends but 10 out of 10 for having the taste and talent to have a damned good go at such a young age. The audience response speaks for itself, they loved you mistakes or no mistakes and so did I. Now gonna see if I can find more of your vids and see how you've progressed since this was two years ago.

If you wish to emulate Hank Marvin & The Shadows, LISTEN, LISTEN & LISTEN over and over again for the phrasing. What I hear is disappointing to say the least.

hi you really need to have another isten to the record ,the timings wrong the drums wrong rhythm and wrong notes and chords ..But keep it up you will get there in the end

Nice job, guys! The suits certainly set you apart from the rabble, and while the guitar playing is a little shaky at times, it's a bloody good effort.
