Spain's Paralympic Basketball Cheats

At the 2000 Paralympic games Spain won the mentally disabled basketball tournament. The only problem was that most of their team were faking mental illness. This was parodied in an episode of South Park.

They do but it not the best of the best athletes, anyone with an intellectual disability can compete in the Special Olympics. Also one woman who competed in both said to me they don't allow you to do your best in the Special Olympic because they disquilife you if you improve more then so much.

Paralympic are for elite athletes with a disability.

I wrote a letter to help get I.D athletes into the Paralympics.

She and another person said they all knew something was wrong with Spain team.

Dont the mentally disabled have the Special Olympics? I thought the Paralympics were for the physically disabled. It doesnt matter anyway, what the Spanish did was dispicable - the Olympics and all of its variants are meant to be for sporting participation, not for financial gain.
