  • you need a little weight to move the center of gravity up making the rocket more stable. I didn't use a lot of clay but enough. Experiment

  • Are there any alternatives instead of using the hinges? I don't have time to order off of amazon and wait for shipping :(

  • You could try making them out of a spare PET bottle. I got the hinges from a hobby shop (one that sells radio controlled airplanes, model trains and what not). They were located in the parts section.

  • @kfmh06 Could i use plastic hinges instead of nylon hinges?

  • @dendar8 Use what you want. Nylon works great but plastic will do the trick
