  • What does it say? It says he abhors homosexuality and ALL SIN, not that he doesn't love ALL people...

  • @SouthernGent55 It seems to me that you take the bible literally. If so, why do you take the sin of homosexuality to be far above all other sins? I do not see people bitching about divorce, which I thought was also a sin, but this is the main thing that bible literalist take as a great offense. If so then why do the same people treat Jesus and God as an Idol? Think about it! May god forgive you!

  • @XXXR84 - In fact, I have thought about it. All sin is detestable and the church also 'bitches' about divorce. I can't stop people from treating Jesus or God as an idol (not sure what you're getting at), but we are to worship God, that's not idolatry. What I'm saying is that I won't support a church's effort to accept and rationalize sin, such as in the ordination Robinson, or that accepts divorce as Godly. God doesn't need to forgive me for following his word, but Eugene will need it.

  • the Church of England is dead. and you wonder why the Church of England is no more? i have a bunch of Pagans whom believe that God the father is half of God the mother and more and more British believe in God the Father and God The mother because this debate is stupid. Simple. if you believe that the bible is literary word of God. than you believe in the invisible man in the sky. Idol worship!

  • He's so handsome.

  • Let me tell you, this is why a lot of people are running away from ALL forms of Christianity and into things like - paganism, I kid you not. Not just atheism but worshipping pagan gods. Or even Satanism. Is that what you want?

  • I notice that you people are also not in any way concerned about DIVORCED straight people. So you people show, in your actions and by ignoring divorce, that SOME sins are clearly less serious than other ones, and it's just your own personal distaste for homosexuality that leads you to focus on this and not divorce. Quit hiding behind Scripture to justify your own "ick factor". You dishonest liars, you.

  • Gee, there's so much love here coming from these gay-hating people who have left comments. And don't even begin to lie to me and say "but I don't hate gay people" because yes you do, I won't believe anything different until you people start changing your tune and until you people start LOOKING AT YOURSELVES and what your comments say about yourselves, you self-righteous, sanctimonius halfwits!
