"even though he shows no evidence for himself." Actually that is the center of the entire debate. Because we believe evidence of his existence are abundant, but you need to open your heart and mind. Contemplate the universe and you'll see God's signs. If God wanted he would have hung a big sign in the sky saying "God exists" or something. Prophets used to come to their people with miracles and they didn't believe, we as Muslims believe the Quran is a miracle on its own

I was just thinking, if the Khutbah is about teaching people to be better Muslims and clear their doubts why not let them decide. Here is my idea: Put up a large piece of paper in the Mosque's lobby and let people write anything they want to know about Islam or what they want a speech on. It should be totally anonymous and people should be able to do it in private. I don't know if this is possible but I feel it would be more constructive? What do you think?
