@HondaSucksDick Yeah, it was only a month. She worked for the attorney that did the divorce so she drew up the papers herself. You have to state a certain something in the papers so we didn't have to wait the separation period. I don't know what we had to say in them but it was a quickie divorce.

@creep9000 How do you get divorced a month after seperating? Im pretty sure you have to be seperated for at least one year before you can get divorced. At least thats how it works in my state. Just a question, no smart ass reply needed.

Update on creep9000! Thank you all for your kindness and encouraging words. I'm happier now than I have ever been in my life. My gf is awesome to me and my kids. In fact, we just had a baby on March 3. I wish I had met her 20 years ago. To anyone on here who can relate to this song, keep your chin up. My Grandmother always told me "this, too, shall pass". She was right.
