THIS WAS MY FAVORITE SONG TO DANCE THE LATIN HUSTLE TO. I LOVE L--O--N--G WELL ORCHESTRATED DISCO NUMBERS FROM THIS TIME PERIOD. AS AN AUDIOPHILE, IT'S THE "SOUND": THAT I GET OFF ON (GOTTA HAVE A GOOD MELODY THOUGH). I LISTEN TO EVERYTHING I CAN FIND THAT MEETS THESE CRITERIA. BUT IT ALL BEGAN, WIRH "DON'T LET ME BE MISUNDERSTOOD" (SURE--BUT AS THEY SAY, THOUGH, "THE ROAD TO hELL IS PAVED WITH GOOD INTENTIONS.") THERE WAS NEVER ANY DISCO NUMBER THAT MOVED ME TO DANCE LIKE THIS ONE.

Thanks for posting this great song!! I used to listen to it years ago when I was in high school. Great dance tune from the 70s! Santa Esmeralda's version is by far the best. The rhythm and horn section are fantastic. Thanks again!!

This song used to remind me of being a kid in the 70s, now all I can think off is Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu swordfighting in the snow!

Does anyone have the Trini Lopez version? 1969 I think. It is the most brilliant one. Goes on for about 12 days and great to dance to!!
