If you need a higher power, look for someone taller than you (Or stronger).
Bibles hold as much truth as Grimm's Fairy Tales; the problem is many people take them literally, and with little thought about the meaning of the lessons.

Religion is a means for social control.
It's just there to stop people from taking control of their own lives.
Throughout history the ruling class has always feared freedom and religion is just one of the many tools they use to supress it.

All religions are the same, we all pray to the same god, each religion has a different name for their god. Christianity's gods name is just God. I have a logical question. Why would god take my father away from me when i was two years old, why would he take my uncle, my other uncle, my grandma, my grandpa, my dad, my aunt. What cruel basterd would do something to his own creation? I am 14 years old, and apperantly im more down to earth than most of you un-formal people.

I believe the word religion is a deceptively dangerous word, as many are and will be deceived into believing lies perpetrated by Satan himself. God is not hiding from us, but there is only one way to the Father and that is through his Son, Jesus Christ. When we're baptized into the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Truth, we become alive to the truth and we become a discerner of truths and lies by the Holy Ghost, who leads us into all truths. Those born again are commissioned to spread these truths.
