For what might strike you as obvious reasons, these images and sound clips never made it into the final cut of the video, "Upper West," which lives on the AVDJ channel. Nevertheless, it did seem like something worth posting on the reloaded channel. Often when I am out shooting, I have no idea where I am going with my production, and I do a lot of experimenting until it comes together cohesively. Things could have turned out very differently, but in this case, the addendum video has a close resemblance to the style of the original piece:

It does look like modern art! And, history, at the same time. Interesting. Nothing like that in my area.
Hope all is well w/you, sugar! XOXOX

The old pier and elevated barn were part of the old New York Central rail yard that was located there. They offloaded cargo from ships and put it on railroad cars. New York Central also built the High Line and much of the cargo made its way down there. Continuity!
I think I told you that when I moved to NY the old abandoned rail yard was used primarily for cruising for sex. Ah, the memories.
