The HST shots start after a minute.
This is a tribute to Britain's most successful intercity train - the HST, with backing by Queen's "The show must go on". The video features the best of the footage I have shot over the past year, including plenty of run-throughs, as well shots of the HST accelerating from a standing start. I have done my best to syncronise it with the music.

OMG iv love to see a HST in APT livery, that would be cool. I do think the HST should always be in the BR Swallow Livery

Absolutly fantastic. Regarding the 2 passing "125s", if your luck is anything like my luck I bet you were thinking "GOTCHA" Ive been waiting all day for that to happen"......lol

not sure on that, but it has a good chance if it is loco based and it is not electric.

I wonder if it would do as well as or better then the HST. Or would it fail like the APT.

nope but if the 222 was capable in excess of 140mph i wouldnt mind it being so. its the HST2 which is the next one, cant wait for it!!

I thought that it was the Class 222 that were replacing the HST or is that the HST2?

the iep/hst2 are replacements for the hst, i believe one is electric and one is diesel, not sure on that

Well. The APT-E was a train that didn't need electrification and it was more successful Then the APT-P.
P.S. What's the IEP/HST2?
TBH I think that I would like the APT and the HST to be both running at the same time span.

it would have looked awesome mate, they should have had a diesel apt, i think that would have been more sucessful. lets wait for the IEP/HST2

How the hell did you get yourself onto Plat 2 at Cholsey? IIRC its blocked up unless teh slow lines are shut.
