Harvest Moon: Magical Melody - Jamie's Cute Tiara Wedding

Marrying Jamie as a male, so that Jamie is female, and finally takes off the awesome hat for an even awesomer little crown. x3 I can't believe we decided for Damian to do this on a whim, to get all those crazy requirements and just go do it before marrying Maria. But it was worth it!

You can see the same wedding with a male Jamie and female player character at "Harvest Moon: Magical Melody (Ending) - Jamie's Cute Tux Wedding (1/3)."

Jamie, as I've said, has special requirements for marriage. In addition to everyone's Level 3 house, L bed, and 8-10 hearts, you also need to have FIFTY notes (have saved the Goddess), have used the Miracle Potion on each kind of animal (and with all babies born), and have shipped all kinds of crops (only actual CROPS - other stuff on the shipping list doesn't matter). It's pretty tough, but worth it for a great wedding! Do keep in mind that although you can marry Jamie as a boy OR a girl, you cannot continue the game with Jamie as your spouse.


DIFFERENCES from male-Jamie wedding:

1) We said "Absolutely" this time instead of "Yes." =D No difference in reaction, really, but doesn't it sound much sweeter?

2) Female Jamie is much more concise when summing up her feelings about her future spouse. You see, MALE Jamie said, "You're an idiot..." Female Jamie says simply, "...Idiot." xD Regardless, either "compliment" is received with oblivious little hearts!

3) The Sprites said she was pretty and a girl! Phew! I thought they might accidentally repeat their good-looking boy line...

4) Is it me or does female Jamie's hair look the SLIGHTEST bit longer and more straightened?


...GAH! Jamie is too pretty as a girl! Stop it, Jamie; stop shattering my already-established notions that you are a BOY to me! It's genderbendingly confusing!

All tthe cutscenes that followed this wedding were the same as from the male-Jamie wedding, so that's why none are shown here. The only difference was in the Clinic scene. Do you remember when Gina was hiding behind the curtain and then magically reentered the room? Well, this time, she was standing by Alex, and THEN magically reentered... xD So you don't get to see a new "ending" part, but it's a spiffy wedding nevertheless!

Hm? If you really want to marry Jamie, it's not so much of a problem. Just get all the requirements done, SAVE, propose / watch the wedding and following cutscenes, and then the game will take you back to the start screen. Choose to load your game with that same file, and things should be right back to the last save point before marrying Jamie. You'll still have the Blue Feather (and everything else you already had), and you can use it to marry Gwen or whoever and play on forever. ^^

No - after the wedding, you cannot continue playing the game with Jamie as a spouse. You leave town, see some conclusive cutscenes, and the game "ends"... All you can do from there is access your file from the last save point before the marriage, and use the Blue Feather you gave to Jamie to instead propose to someone else. Then, with any other bachelor/ette, the game continues forever and you do have a baby (but babies all look the same, regardless of spouse, and never grow into adulthood).

Well, Jamie is your main rival, pitted against you in ranching, shipping, festivals, and (most importantly) rescuing the Goddess. His/her deep-rooted dedication to do especially the last thing by him/herself makes Jamie terribly mean and competitive toward you. I guess it's surprising that, in marrying Jamie, you've finally broken past that wall.

I don't think she's THAT shocked, though. She totally wanted them together. My favorite game theory is that the Goddess is Jamie's mother. ^^

It sucks cuz my name is Jamie and im a girl, and jamie's are usually guys so I always name my character Jamie cuz it goes both ways. And I love marrying Jamie just cuz we have the same first name... Haha

@raikuakatsukimember Jamie can either be a girl or a guy. If you play as a girl, you can marry guy Jamie. If you play as a guy, you can marry girl Jamie.
