(Sacramento) As the State Legislature debated the water legislation package, Assemblymember Alyson Huber (D-El Dorado Hills), made it clear shes opposed to it because it creates a new layer of bureaucrats who will make decisions on water that will impact the communities in her district, including the details of a peripheral canal. Assemblymember Huber says her opposition to the water package is supported by Delta communities, I have heard from my constituents and they have said loud and clear they oppose the construction of a peripheral canal. Heres more from Assemblymember Huber in this Assembly Access video.
