Rock Sitar Collaboration - The Project

A while ago my friend uploaded one of his sitar jams. Since then I have been periodically working on a track that incorporates the piece that he posted. Another way to collaborate, and hopefully the dawn for a new chapter of "The Project"

Then I had a play with some synth programs and came up with a sound that I thought could work and played along using a little midi travel keyboard that I have with me. Added the vocals using my handy dandy zoom H4 microphone (they are awesome, everyone should have one) Mixed, and mastered. Dropped it all into after effects and synced it with original video, added in the opening titles using some graphic design magic, and Vola. Easy as pie :)

Well....

first I downloaded your vid from youtube and separated the audio track from the video. Then I dropped that into a DAW and cleaned up the audio and added a few effects and so on to enhance the sound. Next I added the drum tracks using a fancy new drum programing tool that produces nice authentic sounding results.

I am impressed by your new found skills. This is kinda what I was hoping for when I uploaded pieces to Youtube. Thanks for making it happen.
