Just a classic case of driving too fast in such wet conditions.
Very wet track = take it easy.

@odzadze123 the slight air you get there doesnt help at all xD
-

-
lol whats worst i just realised its like the first corner for the track ha ha!!
-
Wow the track isnt just wet its completely soaked and your still driving way to fast, when the track looks crystal like that you can bet you got an inch of water on it!!
Bad driving skills for reading the track, maybe you thought 4wd could get you through anything lol
Unlucky son.

Aquaplaning will occur when the accumulation of sufficient quantities of water under the wheels.
it is necessary that the car hassome speed, and the effect can be manifested in sudden braking or sudden changes of direction. On flat, uphill and downhill...
Once i have same type of accident with my Bmw,when i tried to brake, instantly car Loose control, and after that is behaved as i driving on ice,and my speed in that monent is only 60Km/h,downhill..!!!

Question: Do you need a special license to drive the Nurburgring, or any other track for that matter?

No special licence required. In the UK you just need a normal drving license to do a track day. The Nurburgring doesn't check for any licence at all
