  • Which Magnaflow muffler is that? Sounds great.

  • @brauer777

    Hello,

I'm sorry it's been so long ago, i can't remember what was put on there?? Thank you for the compliment though. Still toying with putting the stock exhaust back on. I wish I had a switch to have it like it is currently and then have it quiet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like both sounds, depends on the occasion I have it out of the garage for.

  • hey its me again so resonator stay and then straight pipes or some exhaust but not magnaflow what I wanna get is EINSENMANN either RACING OR SPORT what you think could you help? you already have expierience with that what is your IDEA HOW would you do it next time so you can have maybe more power and less sound because this is what i want to get best preformance with bit of sound stock sound be best but i dont think I can get stock sound with hi flow cats and maybe 2,5' pipe please write back.

  • @ADI126SEC1

I wish I had some technical input for you. It would be nice to replace one thing at a time to see how it changes the sound and performance. If I had to do it again, I think I would replace the cats and keep the resignator? Not sure though???

Sorry, I wish I had an answer for you. Trust me, I know what you're going through and it is a hard decision.

Good luck, and please send me a clip of what you end up doing. Would love to hear what just one change would do!!!!!!

  • Thanks all for the nice comments. I still have the exhaust on the car, but in retrospect, I wish I would have left the cats on perhaps. The exhaust took away some of the performance and it is a bit too loud. I still have the old parts and am toying around with putting it back on. It is a very cool sound, but gets old after a while.

  • @ADI126SEC1 Hello I'm jake I own a 2000 Sl600 Sport and if your looking for that Ferrari F1 sound then I would happily suggest you run 3" pipe throughout with an X-pipe, Spintech Race bullets, DMH Electric Cutouts just before the mufflers for open headers on-demand, ending with two Pacesetter twin tips out the back. Also I suggest a dual cold air intake. I did this to my car and it screams like a Symphony of F1 performance, my car has more response and sounds what V-12 is supposed to now. thanks

  • What a hack job, who welded up that exhaust?

  • omg! :-) that sound is awesome.. can i ask something, what is the price of that exhaust system ??? (

    for that car)

  • i love the original optic!

  • NO problem I will do my video soon as I will recive my new race muffler from EISENMANN and also my work shop told me that will be better to start with muffler firs especally designe for MY W140 Cl600 V12 so I want to do DYNO test before and after I will have my new muffler on the car and after dyno I can make decision if I want to go with SPORT CATS and that will be IT because I want to keep stock 2" pipes I think MB did good job on designe those.

  • Whats the whistle in the start of the video when you hit the gas and let it go?
