the reason why traditionally they put all the ingredients in different containers is because some people only like cheese, other only beans, others only beans and meat, or all 3 together, so the cooks would be making them upon request. Taking in consideration you are not native to this type of cooking let me tell you something, You do and awesome job!! My mom makes a creamy filing by blending the meat with a tomato, onion, garlic and bell-pepper (might be the equivalent to your sauce) and beans
